According to ESPN's David Newton, the Carolina Panthers are reportedly not interested in signing star quarterback Baker Mayfield. In an earlier report on Tuesday, Jeff Howe of The Athletic reported that the franchise and the Seattle Seahawks had held preliminary discussions with the former No. 1 overall draft pick.
According to Jonathan M. Alexander of the Charlotte Observer, play tic tac toe a source informed him that the franchise is "not pursuing him at this time."
