HIGH PERFORMANCE SPORTS PSYCHOLOGY COACHING
Learn to perform in the zone regularly and become the confident and powerful athlete you’ve wanted to be. Develop a strong mental game that has you looking forward to competitions rather than secretly dreading them.
Dr. Chandon’s sports psychology coaching approach teaches athletes how to identify their individual high performance states and then develop anchors to those states. Developing anchors to high performance states makes them readily accessible with consistent mental and physical practice.
Mental Practice
No one knows you like you know yourself. No one is more in touch than you with your dreams, fears, hopes, strengths, weaknesses, and inner conversations. You need to own your mental game and not look to others to tell you how to manage yourself. That's your job, but you'll need some new skills and tools to manage your mental game masterfully.
Dr. Chandon's system of high performance sports psychology is a powerful combination of meditation, self-hypnosis, breakthrough thinking, Jungian psychology and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP). The true beauty of the system is that it combines some high powered psychological ideas into practical and accessible tools that anyone can use. You can do your mental practice in as little as 15 minutes per day. Invest your valuable time into mental and physical training that will make the most significant impacts. Your mind is the engine that powers everything in your sport and life.

Background
Dr. Chandon was born in Albuquerque during his father’s service in the Air Force at Kirtland Air Force Base. He spent most of his year younger years living in different parts of the United States and then returned home to Albuquerque in 2013.
He has worked with many fighters at JW including top UFC fighters to high-level amateurs who are on the road to stardom. He has worked with athletes from many different sports at all levels. His roots in mixed martial arts go back to his experiences as a wrestler and martial artist as a young athlete. He loves mixed martial arts because “we learn the most about human beings in extreme situations.” There isn’t a more challenging sport, mentally and physically, than mixed martial arts fighting. He loves the challenge of helping fighters find their confidence and learn how to perform consistently in the flow state.
His journey in sports psychology began with his experience as an athlete in high school and college. He had some significant successes in sports but he knew that something was missing in his mental approach and that he was capable of much more. That was the impetus of a search for an approach to sports psychology performance that was powerful, simple and that produced significant results quickly. His search led him to two master’s degrees in behavioral science and a PhD in human and organizational development.
Ultimately, he developed a system of high performance sports psychology that is a combination of meditation, self-hypnosis, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), Jungian psychology and Breakthrough Thinking. He is the author of twenty-one sports psychology books which he uses with his clients. To see a list of his books, go to AMAZON.COM
